Giyalung Miil (Smart Eye in Wiradjuri language) is a 12-metre antenna at Parkes Observatory. It was commissioned in 2008 to test technology now used on the 36 antennas of the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP) at Inyarrimanha Ilgari Bundara, CSIRO’s Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory in remote Western Australia.
